In this podcast, Joel explains his own path to authorship, from his first foray in 1995, with a book for parents about safe Internet Surfing, to his latest 6th book, and the “laser-focused” approach he takes to writing. He shares that his primary goal is to inspire people, and to “mine the gold” within all of us that brings greatness and value to the world. Joel believes that you could literally find the genius next door with one simple question. He also explains the importance, as an aspiring author, of finding a publisher that puts the author first, and why having the attitude that the book itself is not the product is paramount.
